Skin tags or seborrheic keratoses can be removed by snipping, scraping, burning or freezing. Removal of skin tags and seborrheic keratoses are not covered by insurance since they are not deemed medically necessary. Eskata can also be used for treatment of seborrheic keratoses. It's a much less invasive way to remove the keratoses and tends to have a much better cosmetic outcome than using other treatment modalities.
